The carefully assorted berries were macerated and fermented in 1000 litre oak vats, the cap was punched down manually three times each day for 30 days. The wine was aged in French barrels for 16 months.
Young garnet colour. The wine is intensely fruity on the nose and is reminiscent of oriental spices at a bazaar. Precise balance, great liveliness. It feels silky on the palate with well integrated tannins. Blackberry, black cherry and dried cherry dominate while pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg enrich the aromas. Surprisingly elegant.
